Fennes Fishing is stocked with Bream, Tench, Rudd, Roach, Perch, Catfish and Carp over 30lb. For your convenience we have a on-site shop and take-away pop up shop, currently open Friday – Sunday.

OUR LAKES

Ash Ground

Ash grounds lake is a well-established spring fed water comprising of 5.8 acres and a 1000+yrds of well tendered bank it’s an attractive 24-peg lake that is well stocked with common and mirror carp with some weighing in at 33+lbs.

With more than a 1000 yards of bank Ash grounds has several attractive islands within easy casting distance this lake also offers many sub surface features including gravel bars and an undulating bed with some deeper pockets with depths to 10ft, the margins are also home to a varied array of aquatic vegetation including Reed mace, Bull rushes and water lilies providing both cover and spawning sites.

Hobbs Croft

This lake offers both open water and the opportunity to fish close to islands and features. Hobbs Croft covers 3.5 acres and has 20 pegs.

With a larger grass area that makes it ideal for visting families wanting to experience fishing. This lake holds the same species of fish as Ash Grounds,

For the pleasure and match angler this lake holds smaller Common & Mirror carp, roach, rudd, perch, bream, tench, F1’s and crucian carp.

Hill & Black

Unlike some lakes that have been converted from farm reservoirs that can featureless the Fennes has made great strides in landscaping this water and providing features. The depths range from 8ft to 4ft with numerous sub surface features that consist of clear gravel patches, silt gulleys and large weed beds.

Again this lake holds the same species of fish as the other two lakes on the Fennes complex. For the pleasure and match angler this lake holds some large Common & Mirror carp, roach, rudd, perch, bream, tench, F1’s and crucian carp.

Steve has been telling me that a lot of people are asking about winter tickets already. So the answer for you all is yes, we will be offering a limited amount of winter tickets across the 3 lakes between 1st November 2026 and 28th February 2027.

Price will remain the same as last year: £150 for the 4 months, unlimited, 24hr fishing.

Yes but not loads , the biggest that's been out lately was a 27lb common but I have seen a mirror thats a fair bit bigger , possibly 30
