Fennes Fishing is stocked with Bream, Tench, Rudd, Roach, Perch and Carp over 30lb.

LAKE RULES

HOBBS CROFT

  1. It is the fishermans responsibility to have purchased a rod licence from the EA, who may, at any time, inspect these at the lakes.
  2. Keep nets can be used subject to fish safety at all times.
  3. All matts must be dipped. All anglers to use suitable landing net and unhooking mat
  4. All fisherman must have carp care sprays to fish this lake. Any fisherman without will be asked to purchase on-site, off-site or leave the fishery.
  5. Only barbless or micro barbed hooks can be used
  6. No Braid on this lake
  7. No Tiger nuts, peanuts, bloodworm, joker, bread or boilies. No floating baits. ALL forms of catmeat etc is prohibited. Luncheon meat is restricted to a maximum of 400g per angler.
  8. ground bait may be used
  9. All feeders and leads must be free running except float or pole fishing.
  10. Tackle must not be left unattended at the swim
  11. No hand lines or “Shock Stikk” type set ups
  12. FISH MUST NOT BE KILLED OR TAKEN AWAY FROM THE FISHERY, POLICE WILL BE CALLED FOR FISH THEFT.
  13. Swims must be kept tidy at all times.
  14. All litter and unused bait can be disposed off in the bins provided. Maggots can be disposed off in the lake.
  15. No noise nuisance, radios, phones etc.
  16. No unsociable or disruptive behaviour.
  17. All Vehicles to be parked in the car park areas only, NOT ON GRASSED AREAS.
  18. No fires or barbeques.
  19. No Night Fishing.
  20. No dogs on this lake.
  21. Fennes Fishing accepts no liability whatsoever for any personal injury, loss or damage to any property howsoever caused.
  22. Cars are left at owners own risk.
  23. Juniors under the age of 16 are permitted to fish with adult supervision and at no charge. Children must be respectful of other fisherman.
  24. You must be off your swim at the designated and agreed time, normal hours 7am-7pm.
  25. There are 23 swims on Hobbs Croft and you may only fish the swim assigned to you.
  26. The rules and fees are subject to change without notice.
  27. Any person not abiding by the rules will be asked to leave and banned from the fishery.
