Carp fishing lakes in Braintree, Essex
The fishery was built in 1993 on former water meadows and the lakes each take their names from the original fields on which they now stand.
Hours are 24/7, swim times: 7am-7pm / 7pm -7am
The only lake on the complex that you can turn up and fish, this lake is only for daytime fishing. Bait and equipment can be purchased at our on-site shop, currently open Friday – Sunday.
HOBBS CROFT LAKE
Hobbs Croft is a 3 acre, 22 peg lake stocked with magnificent Rudd, Roach, Carp, Perch, Tench and Bream and is the perfect place to spend the day building huge bags of fish and compete against other anglers. Hobbs croft, is also a perfect place to ensure that you can teach the future generation of anglers to enjoy this superb sport and always catch some of the smaller to larger fish in the lake.
2 islands, Fantastic landscaped banks, purpose made swims and an all-weather carpark, Hobbs is quickly becoming one of the premier venue lakes in Essex and is available to any club that wants to arrange a match for their team.
